Homeschool for the Holidays

This year, the two didn't really mix well.  Homeschool and the holidays, that is.

There's that Freight Train feeling of December that occurs every year, and we had the added stress of cardiac ablation fun times 2, which, along with recovery, sucked up a number of days.

But we did manage to check off some school days, nonetheless.

1st Grade Geography

Dunno what they're doing here, but since notebooks are out, it's probably History.

Horton does Language Arts

Does the Home Depot workshop count?

How about making our Gingerbread Train?

Field Trip to the Zoo with Grandpop. You can't hardly see RJ's face, because for some reason he dressed as a Dragon to go to the Zoo.

RJ does Reading Eggs online for a little while.

We've got some changes and new curriculum pieces that started in January, so maybe one of these days I'll post about what we use and why.
