2017 Homeschool Wrap-Up

Evals are done and paperwork for the school is notarized and ready to submit!

Not that anyone seems to care from the district, but hey, I've done my part.

We had a really great year.  We changed a lot of things up, tossed some resources, added new ones, tweaked and twerked our sources, all the while learning and progressing.  While our state's home education laws require us to show "progress" to our evaluators, we have always been able to show not only progress from the start of the year, but mastery of content in addition to students who continue to work above level and score highly on standardized testing (required in years 3, 5, and 8, but we test every year).

But I don't need to bore you with the curriculum choices and extras; there's enough on the interweb to satisfy your googling on that stuff.  Here's some pics from our spectacular 3rd year of homeschooling!

We began our school year when this thing looked like this

Our mandatory sign-holding photo
